About the Center

Discover who we are and what we do

Greetings! Welcome to your gateway to the rich resources in international scholarship, teaching and services at Cornell. This site has been designed to help you make sense of what is a lively and sometimes chaotic reality at this complex university.

Faculty involved with international studies at Cornell have always been committed to providing students with a broad, internationally grounded education. We hope that our students will come to appreciate what the United Nations calls the "common heritage of mankind"—the contributions to knowledge made by the many societies of our globe—to recognize and value cultural pluralism, and to feel comfortable winding their way through a multicultural world. Cornell seeks to train the next generation of scholars and professionals who will carry forward this commitment to international knowledge, teaching, and service.

The web gateway will be a valuable tool as you seek out Cornell's wealth of international resources. We welcome your comments on how to make the site even more effective as we continue to develop it.

In April 2007, the Einaudi Center website was named one of the top 300 websites for Political Science by IPSAPortal, a resource created by the International Political Science Association.  IPSAPortal selects, reviews and evaluates the best websites providing data, materials and sources for scholarly research worldwide.
