The Einaudi Center launched the Foreign Policy Distinguished Speaker Series in Spring 2006 with a talk by Larry Diamond, professor of political science and sociology and senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. Since then, the series welcomed several other prominent speakers that are listed below. The provided links feature news items, summaries of the lectures as well as videos of the events available through CornellCast video (www.cornell.edu/video/). The Series foresees 6-8 speakers a year who have a position of prominence in international affairs and can address topical issues from a variety of perspectives. Topics and speakers of future debates will be determined by the Foreign Policy Network, and will reflect topical issues and current events.
The Einaudi Center also hosts the Henry E. and Nancy Horton Bartels World Affairs Fellowship that brings to campus persons who have distinguished themselves as international public figures.
