A professional development workshop for middle and high school teachers offered by the Cornell Educational Resources for International Studies (CERIS)

Date:
Mon, 06/25/2012 - 9:00am - Wed, 06/27/2012 - 5:00pm
This cross‐curriculum workshop will engage educators in activities on integrating world area knowledge on global issues related to the topic of water. Our goal is to encourage teachers and their students to have a greater understanding of how this natural resource plays a significant role in culture, tradition and the arts as well as in the current state of the planet in terms of water scarcity and sustainability. The material will be presented in interdisciplinary approach while meeting NYS Science, Social Studies, and Art standards.
