The American Center of Oriental Research (ACOR) offers two or more ACOR-CAORC Post-Doctorate Fellowships for research in Jordan. The applicant must hold the Ph.D. degree or the equivalent terminal degree in their field at the time of application and be a U.S. citizen.
The fellowships will be offered for terms of two to six months. The maximum award for six months is $32,400 (which includes room and board at ACOR, transportation by a U.S. carrier, and a stipend). Two to five month awards will be proportionate. For residence over the stipulated term, regular room and board rates will be charged.
