The Center offers advanced research fellowships for one year, with a possibility for renewal. Applications for research fellowships are welcome from recent recipients of the Ph.D. or equivalent degree, university faculty members, and employees of government, military, international, humanitarian, and private research institutions who have appropriate professional experience. The Belfer Center seeks applications from political scientists, lawyers, economists, those in the natural sciences, and others of diverse disciplinary backgrounds. It offers fellowships in four program areas: the International Security Program (ISP); the Science, Technology, and Public Policy Program (STPP); the Program on Intrastate Conflict and Conflict Resolution (ICP); and the Dubai Initiative. Additional fellowships are offered in special projects described in the next section.

Deadline: The application period will close at 11:59pm EST on January 15th, 2019. All recommendation letters will be due on February 1, 2019. All decisions will be announced by March 29, 2019.
