Princeton University and Harvard University jointly founded the fellowship program for the advanced study of China’s international relations, the Princeton-Harvard China and the World Program (CWP), in 2005. The program’s co-directors are Thomas J. Christensen of Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and Alastair Iain Johnston of Harvard’s Government Department. The China and the World Program supports research that integrates theoretical innovations in the field of international relations with the rigorous study of China’s interactions with countries, regions, institutions, and non-state actors.

Applicants must have received a PhD before starting the position.  Only applicants working on some aspect of China’s relations with the outside world that supports CWP’s mission need apply.
