Research proposals bearing on any one of these themes may address issues related to technology and society, consumption, labor and markets, human security, civil society, bioethics, aging societies and other life-span issues, transnational economic relations, sustainable development and global environmental issues, and foreign assistance, among others. The program provides Abe Fellows with a minimum of three and maximum of 12 months of full-time support over a 24 month period. The deadline is September 1 annually.
