The Einaudi Center has established itself as an incubator for multidisciplinary groups of scholars working collaboratively on critical global issues. Topics are identified by Cornell faculty members and selected by the center’s leadership on the basis of relevance, creativity, and promise. Of special interest are issues that are normally considered technical, but where the stakes for ordinary citizens are high, and where non-technical perspectives are critically important.
The center provides intellectual, administrative, and technical support, as well as funding for visiting scholars, postdoctoral fellows, graduate student assistants, outside speakers, and group activities and outputs. Those outputs may include publications, policy recommendations, media products, public events, and academic courses or programs.
Several groups are currently in the planning or start-up phases. We encourage Cornell faculty members to apply for a working group development grant of up to $30,000. For details, please click here.
