Liu Yuchun is an associate professor at Wuhan University of Science and Technology in China. She holds a doctorate in ancient Chinese history from Wuhan University.

Her research interests are gender, body, and medicine in the Song dynasty. 

Project: An examination of reproduction in the Song dynasty, through analysis of epitaphs and medical gestation texts and the lens of gendered power relations.
