Radwa Saad

Radwa Saad is a 3rd year PhD student in the Africana Studies and Research Center at Cornell University. She holds an MSc in Security and Development from King’s College London and is an alumni fellow of the African Leadership Centre’s Peace Security and Development program for African Scholars. Her research focuses on the effects of conscription practices on the expansion of citizenship rights, political culture and nation-building processes in post-colonial states.
