Shan Xiang

Visiting Scholar
Shan Xiang is an associate professor of Yuelu Academy at Hunan University. Her research interests is the history of Mongol-Yuan Period(1206—1368)of China. She has published more than a dozen papers on the related topics such as the living condition of the scholars in Jiangnan under the rule of Yuan Dynasty, the natural disasters’ occurrence and relief and the water conservancy activities in the South of the Yangtze River during this Period. At the same time, she pays more attention to the political history of the middle and later Yuan Dynasty and puts forward some new views on some important court events.
