Abstract art

A minor in Asian Studies is an excellent way for students of all backgrounds to supplement their main course of study.

When enrolling in the Southeast Asian Studies minor, students are considered members of the Southeast Asia Program and are highly encouraged to participate in all program activities. Admission to the minor shall be declared no later than the first semester of the graduating year.

Students are encouraged to explore our Southeast Asian language offerings and area studies offerings. You should also consider the intensive summer language courses offered by the Southeast Asia Studies Summer Institute (SEASSI) and our study abroad and internship programs.
