Cornell International Education Network (CIEN)

The Cornell International Education Network (CIEN) was established by the Einaudi Center in 1991 to promote resource-sharing and professional development among staff and faculty in the fields of international studies and education, as well as those who work with international students and scholars and/or US students studying abroad.

Membership is open to all Cornell faculty and staff and represents a broad cross-section of the university, including the Einaudi Center and its associated area and thematic studies programs, the International Students and Scholars Office, Cornell Abroad, Continuing Education and Summer Sessions, Cornell Career Services, Cornell University Health Services, Campus Life, and many other programs.

CIEN meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month during the academic year, unless otherwise posted. Meetings begin at 8:30 am with networking and a light breakfast. Presentations run from 9:00 to 10:00 am.
