Amanda Mayte Vilchez is a Peruvian biologist focused on studying science communication and participatory research in Latin America. She is interested in analyzing how social and political context shapes science communication and perception of science, aiming to propose effective and feasible strategies to impulse the development of the field in the region with inclusive and diverse practices that encourage the participation of underrepresented communities in Latin America.
