Learn more about our associated programs and institutes

The Einaudi Center is the umbrella organization for 19 interdisciplinary programs across the university. These fall into three broad categories: Area Studies Programs, Thematic Programs, and Development Programs.

Look at the bottom of this page for a 'clickable' chart of our associated programs.

Area Studies Programs
Area Studies Programs transcend traditional academic, professional, and national boundaries in the study of major regions of the globe.

Thematic Studies Programs
Thematic studies programs focus on policy issues or theoretical problems. Many of these programs utilize comparative methods to find resolutions.

Development Studies Programs
Development studies programs are thematic studies programs that focus on development issues. Questions may be as narrow as what causes anomalous wealth of nations or as broad as how material processes affect and are affected by culture, politics, natural resources, and a host of other societal conditions.
