Duong Do focuses on multidimensional inequalities, including how gender, climate change, development doctrines, and energy transitions intersect and induce inequalities. As a 2021–22 Global Public Voices fellow, he will highlight how research and strategic (tactical) policy influencing can complement each other.

Do has significant experience managing high-level partnerships with international development institutions, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and businesses.
