Latin American Studies Graduate Minor

LACS welcomes Cornell graduates in all fields of study who are interested in studying and conducting research in Latin America or the Caribbean to apply for the Latin American studies minor. 

Graduate Requirements

You can earn a graduate minor in Latin American studies by completing the following simple requirements:

  1. Select a member of the graduate field in Latin American studies to serve on your special committee.
  2. Comply with the graduate school's Code of Legislation.
  3. Complete the graduate concentration application form. Contact LACS to obtain the form.

While we don't require any specific courses for the graduate minor, we suggest you consider at least one semester of our seminar course (LATA 6000).
