Yingyun ‘Aurora’ Zhang

Yingyun ‘Aurora’ Zhang is a graduating senior at Cornell University. She is a double major in Government and Information Science, with a minor in Law & Society. Raised on the China-Myanmar border, she has been exposed to rich ethical and religious diversity, along with the complexities of ongoing conflicts in the neighboring region. Her academic pursuits are driven by a keen interest in the role of technology in China-US relations, the impact of China's investments in ASEAN countries (especially Myanmar and Laos), and the significance of ICT in border politics and cross-border displacements.
