Sophie Pinkham’s research focuses on post-Soviet and post-socialist literature, culture, and politics, primarily in Russia and Ukraine. Her current project is a history of the forest in the Russian imagination.

Mark A. Sarvary lectures in biology and science communication at the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior. His research focuses on evidence-based teaching practices and student-centered pedagogical methods in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
