Jeremy Foster is interested in the opportunities landscape thinking offers for environmental understanding, interpretation, and design practice. His publications explore how built/grown landscapes of varying scales—historical and contemporary—are produced and reproduced through the entanglement of cultural discourses, representational regimes, environmental processes, and sociomaterial practices.

Iwan Jaya Azis is an adjunct professor of applied economics and policy in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management.

Chris Barrett is the Stephen B. and Janice G. Ashley Professor of Applied Economics and Management and a professor in the Cornell Brooks School of Public Policy.

Steven Osofsky is the Jay Hyman Professor of Wildlife Health and Health Policy in the College of Veterinary Medicine. His current interests include conservation of free-ranging wildlife; relationships among sustainable conservation, system resilience, economic development, and human health and well-being; and developing science-based policy guidance to address challenges at the interface of wildlife, agriculture and other types of land use, and people.

Peter Mcintyre is an aquatic conservation ecologist and the Dwight Webster Sesquicentennial Faculty Fellow. Working with a wide range of collaborators, he develop management approaches that balance human interests with protecting biodiversity. Their work is worldwide in scope, using detailed field studies at sites in New York, the Great Lakes, East Africa, Southeast Asia, and Hawaii to gain general insights and identify global patterns.

Liren Zheng is the curator of the Charles W. Wason Collection on East Asia at the Cornell University Library. Previously he was the curator of the Dr. Shao You-Bao Overseas Chinese Research and Documentation Center, Ohio University Library.

Eli Friedman has a PhD in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley and has been on the faculty of the ILR School since 2011. His primary areas of interest are China and Asia, development, social movements, urbanization, and work and labor. He is the author of "China in Global Capitalism" (Haymarket 2024) "The Urbanization of People: The Politics of Development, Labor Markets, and Schooling in the Chinese City" (Columbia 2022) and "Insurgency Trap: Labor Politics in Postsocialist China" (Cornell 2014).

Allen R. Carlson is an associate professor of government. He earned his PhD from Yale University’s Department of Political Science. His undergraduate degree is from Colby College.

He is a core faculty member of the East Asia Program and affiliated with the South Asia Program and Comparative Muslim Societies Program.
