Kassim Kone is a professor in the Department of Anthropology at the State University of New York at Cortland. He teaches ntroduction to Cultural Anthropology, Peoples of Africa, Introduction to Linguistics, Language in Culture and Society, Development Anthropology, Anthropological Theory, Research Methods. Professor Kone belongs to the select few academic experts knowledgeable in all areas of Mande cultures and of West African Sahelian countries.
