Mostafa Minawi, faculty director of our Critical Ottoman and Post-Ottoman Studies initiative, wins the 2023 Albert Hourani Book Award from the Middle East Studies Association. His book is "Losing Istanbul: Arab-Ottoman Imperialists and the End of Empire."
