Research Interests: My research focuses on decentralizing "WEIRD" perspectives by exploring Southeast Asian contexts, where technological adoption and social computing differ from Western models. I examine how immersive media, AI, and social media shape perception, behavior, and social interaction in Southeast Asia, as well as the role of digital media in globalized entertainment, tourism, and cultural heritage. Additionally, I investigate how digital environments influence bystander behavior in cyberbullying and digital mental health, with a focus on Southeast Asia's evolving social media norms and community enforcement.
