Kizer Walker is Director of Collections for Cornell University Library and serves as managing editor of Signale: Modern German Letters, Cultures, and Thought, an electronic and print book series co-published by Cornell University Library and Cornell University Press in collaboration with Cornell’s College of Arts and Sciences. His work in the library centers on ensuring the Cornell community’s access to scholarly resources for research and learning. He publishes on sustainability and openness in scholarly communications, with a particular focus on publishing practices in the humanities in a time of technological and institutional change. Other research and scholarly interests include translation, critical theory, German-Jewish studies, history of technology, war and representation, and media studies.
