Oumar Ba

Oumar Ba's research focuses on international criminal justice and human rights for globally marginalized people. As a 2021–22 Global Public Voices fellow, he plans to devise actionable strategies to reduce inequalities and strengthen social justice mechanisms both locally and globally.
Ba is currently working on Crimes, Against Humanity: Governing Global Justice, a genealogy of the international criminal justice system, highlighting its racialized hierarchy of humanity and explaining its current crisis.
