Paul Schubert is a PhD student in International Relations and an officer in the United States Air Force. Prior to coming to Cornell, he has worked in a variety of fields from planning and analysis to special operations. He is interested in the intersection of technology and state-level relations, with a particular focus on the effects of technological advancements, their effects on the conduct of war and other military operations, and in how the democratization of advanced technologies will affect war and peace as a function of politics.
