Waleska Solórzano is a Ph.D. student of Hispanic Studies in the Department of Romance Studies. Waleska primarily researches aesthetic manifestations of the Venezuelan diaspora, or what she terms the Venespora, vis-à-vis queer artistic practices. She engages with contemporary Latin American poetry, diaspora studies, performance theory, and utopian social and political thought.
