How to apply for a travel grant

Follow these basic guidelines:

  • Access the funding application from a PC desktop computer (not a mobile device/tablet or smart phone).
  • Use Chrome or Firefox browser in the most current version available.
  • Read and carefully follow the instructions in the online application form.
  • If you want to list a faculty member as a recommender, ask permission before you begin the application! Your application will trigger an automatic email message to the recommender.
  • Be sure to use accurate email addresses for your recommender in the online application.
  • Note: Sometimes technical problems happen due to a poor internet connection. Location does not matter: this can occur within the United States or across the world. If you have trouble, it is best to wait and try again later when the connection seems stronger.
