Community College Internationalization
Faculty and staff of any discipline at two-year institutions in Upstate New York can prepare students to become global-minded citizens, collaborating with Cornell’s area studies programs and the South Asia Center at Syracuse University.
Each year we offer the competitive, funded Community College Internationalization Fellows Program. Up to ten community college educators study and explore projects that engage with Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and/or sub-Saharan Africa.
Projects may include a new course, a new unit for an existing course, or a service-learning component to an existing course that encourages the exchange of diverse perspectives. Faculty, adjunct faculty, lecturers, instructors, and librarians are welcome to apply.
