Director, Comparative Muslim Societies Program and Southeast Asia Program
Eric Tagliacozzo is the John Stambaugh Professor of History at Cornell University. He is the director of the Einaudi Center's Comparative Muslim Societies Program and Southeast Asia Program, and a core faculty member of the Southeast Asia Program and South Asia Program.
His research centers on the history of people, ideas, and material in motion in and around Southeast Asia, especially in the late colonial age.

Teaching/Research Interests: William Lodge is a behavioral and social scientist specializing in HIV primary and secondary prevention, focusing on gender and sexual minority health both domestically and internationally. While his work has primarily focused on South Asia, he has also worked on projects in Brazil, Tanzania, Somalia, Nigeria, and the United States.

Geographic Research Area: South Asia and Latin America
Teaching/Research Interests: Sarah Thompson utilizes causal inference methods (particularly field experiments and quasi-experimental methods) in her research on the politics of marginalized groups. She also works closely with policymakers in the field. She asks how key institutions can intervene to increase the political agency of women and indigenous populations, who are systematically excluded from state politics around the globe.
