Suhail Vawda grew up in Johannesburg, Gauteng province, South Africa. He completed his B.A. in Law (2018) and LL.B. (2020) at the University of Johannesburg and went on to complete an LL.M. in Labor Law (2021) with distinction. After his Visiting Scholar residence at Cornell Law School in 2022, he enrolled in the LLM program with focus on African issues, labor, international human rights, and history.
