Gizem Nur Aydemir

Gizem Nur Aydemir is a PhD candidate and research assistant in the Building Science program at the Middle East Technical University Department of Architecture. Her dissertation research centers on the development of a building energy performance workflow tailored to extreme climate conditions. Her primary academic interests encompass energy modeling, energy autonomy in buildings, active and passive climate control techniques, transplanetary habitats, space architecture, and performance-based strategies for space habitats. At Cornell, she is under the guidance of Associate Professor Timur Dogan.
