Research Interests: Ho Chi Minh City, where I am from, is a national center of economic trade, tourism, as well as entertainment. The city has immensely burgeoning potential to expand into the sky and periphery but seems to lack the conceptual and physical framework for sustainable cultural growth in face of digital globalization, and for environmental resilience in face of global climate change. It's from such a concern, also for any rising cities in developing countries, that I would like to research on the methods of diversification and democratization in an intrinsically homogeneous urban setting (culturally, ethnically, or ecologically), aiming to encourage meaningful pursuit of diversity in content and value, and of democracy for active and inactive shareholders of the city.
